You probably know the rappers who hack in the game
Int80, YTCracker. Massive in name
Now I'm committing to push, start tracking the change
And accept it like a pull request from master to main
If you don't git it, then you're lacking a brain
See, I changed my bars a bit, but interaction's the same
I'll still making moves with confidence every day I stay alive
Even when I REST I got swagger like that API
Featured on podcasts I started grabbing fans
I flipped the script like the output of the tac command
I'm doing hacker raps cause it's sorta fun
To try to balance all these hacker references with normal ones
Dynamic with the hookups you know I keep the D/Invoked
Other rappers R. Kelly they just keep the P/Invoked
Get it? D/Invoke? P/Invoke?
Better look up .NET shellcode if you don't perceive the joke
Switching up the game but I'm livin' with a sorta dread
That my bars are too fly that's why they go over heads
Devil with the wordplay. No surprise I been fire
Payload with the powers. Hell, I'mma make an Empire
Network? Hacking it. Password? Cracking it
Bought this beat I heard online. Afterwards? Rapped on it
Familiar with the frameworks, I mix them up and then destroy
Other rappers not in hacking probably never met a sploit
It's a brand new era of hacker nerdcore
Got you bouncing to this beat wishing you heard more, I know
They say they lovin' my rhymes (Yes, I know)
That's how it's know it's my time
You say you like the song although you hate rap
But it's not a compliment when you say that, so don't
You might think I'll just stand by (but I won't)
I'm here to bring a rise to a brand new era
Yeah, it's a brand new era
I'm the future of the throne like Bran's new era
I'm changing up the codebases from the old faces
Keep it fresh like the sticker on the brand New Era
If you claim that you don't like rap
But you really like my music though you don't like rap
Giving me compliments while saying that you don't rap
Well, you goddamn lying that you don't like rap
How you gonna say that and ignore the conflict?
Contradiction in ya words, what you say is nonsense
You might just be grateful for music you relate to
But genres are wholly independent of the contents
I could write country music not about tractors
But how I hacked your network and pivoted to Azure
So if you ain't down with this new type of hacker
and you wanna be a sheep, well I'm putting you to pasture
I am here to claim the throne. Yes this is happening
I am not here to troll. I am not Jackie Singh
Not afraid to tell you what I think when rapping things
If you don't like it, you can suck a massive thing
New kinda swag in here. I need to demand you
Recognize Ohm-I as the leader of the brand new
Defcon stage, if they put a hall of fame on it
I go Ian Coldwater, you gon see my name on it
It's a brand new era of hacker nerdcore
Got you bouncing to this beat wishing you heard more, I know
They say they lovin' my rhymes (Yes, I know)
That's how it's know it's my time
You say you like the song although you hate rap
But it's not a compliment when you say that, so don't
You might think I'll just stand by (but I won't)
I'm here to bring a rise to a brand new era

Ohm-I is known for his music that primarily focuses on storytelling and comedy from a nerdy perspective. With a strong
penchant for causing you to involuntarily dance and sing along, he has performed at several major anime/gaming conventions and heavily supports spreading awareness of information security careers to kids in underrepresented communities....more
Couldn't have made "BURNER" without the Nerdcore genre this man started. Love this O.G.'s exasperated take on the modern internet, and hope he hasn't given it up entirely! Laurence Warner
This album really captures the feel of the series. The hope that's hidden behind rage, fear, despair. You can sense all of it. EyeQ has a great support cast on this album as well, with none of the featured artists feeling out of place, they all feel as if they are strengthened by their placement here. Definitely glad I picked up a copy of this album as it was well worth twice the price I paid. Looking forward to more amazing things from EyeQ. smugzug
